HZZH

Paint Correction & Polishing Zurich

Paint correction means machine-polishing the paint, removing a wafer-thin layer of clear coat in the process. Wash marks, holograms and dull patches disappear permanently and the deep gloss returns. Depending on paint condition, HZZH works in one or several stages – from refresh to intensive correction.

Frequently asked questions

Does polishing remove all scratches?

Wash marks, holograms and light to medium wear disappear permanently. Deep scratches reaching the colour coat can be softened considerably but not removed entirely – we tell you honestly in advance.

How often can paint be polished?

Every polish removes a minimal amount of clear coat. Healthy paint tolerates several polishes; we measure the coating thickness beforehand and only polish what the paint safely allows.

Is polishing worth it on a new car?

Often yes: many new vehicles arrive with fine wash-tunnel marks or holograms from delivery preparation. A light polish brings the paint to the level it should have had from the factory.
